1. Introduction
Welcome to Pathways Autism (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our services, website, and all related programs and communications. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
Pathways Autism is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, and individualized care to individuals with autism and related developmental needs. Our services are designed to support patients and families through clinical therapy, education, and community-based assistance.

 

2. Services Provided
Pathways Autism offers a range of therapeutic and supportive services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Speech and language therapy

  • Occupational therapy

  • Physical therapy

  • Behavioral therapy and intervention support

  • Social skills development programs

  • Nutritional guidance and support

  • Family and caregiver education

  • Assistance with accessing public and private benefits

All services are individualized based on clinical evaluation, patient needs, and professional recommendations.

 

3. Eligibility
Services are available to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental conditions, as well as those undergoing evaluation. Some services may require medical referrals, diagnostic documentation, or insurance authorization.
We reserve the right to determine eligibility for services based on clinical and operational criteria.

 

4. Appointments and Attendance
Clients are expected to attend scheduled appointments on time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we request at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.
Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in service delays, waitlist placement, or discharge from certain programs.

 

5. Fees, Billing, and Insurance
Pathways Autism may accept private pay, insurance, or government-funded programs where applicable.

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate insurance and billing information

  • Coverage is not guaranteed and is subject to insurance provider approval

  • Any uncovered services, copayments, or deductibles are the responsibility of the client or guardian

  • We may assist families in applying for benefits or financial support programs, but approval is not guaranteed

Failure to complete payment obligations may result in suspension of services.

 

6. Care Plans and Medical Disclaimer
All treatment plans are developed based on professional assessment and clinical judgment. Progress varies from person to person, and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.
Pathways Autism does not replace emergency medical services. In the event of a medical emergency, clients should call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.

 

7. Privacy and Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all clients in accordance with applicable laws, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), where applicable.
Personal health information will only be shared:

  • With authorized caregivers or legal guardians

  • With insurance providers for billing purposes

  • When required by law or court order

  • With consent from the client or guardian

All records are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.

 

8. Communication
By engaging with our services, clients agree to receive communication via phone, email, text, or secure messaging regarding:

  • Appointment reminders

  • Treatment updates

  • Billing notices

  • Program updates or changes

Clients may request communication preferences or opt-out of non-essential communication where permitted by law.

 

9. Conduct and Respectful Environment
We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all patients, families, and staff.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if any behavior is abusive, disruptive, unsafe, or violates the rights and dignity of others.

 

10. Service Modifications and Availability
Pathways Autism reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any services, programs, or offerings at any time.
We also reserve the right to adjust staffing, scheduling, and service delivery methods based on clinical needs, staffing availability, or operational requirements.

 

11. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the highest standard of care, Pathways Autism is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Delays or interruptions in service delivery

  • Outcomes that differ from expected progress

  • Issues arising from incomplete or inaccurate client information

All services are provided on a professional care basis, and no guarantees are made regarding specific results.

 

12. Third-Party Services
We may collaborate with or refer clients to third-party providers, including medical professionals, specialists, or external programs.
Pathways Autism is not responsible for the actions, policies, or outcomes of third-party services.

 

13. Termination of Services
Either the client or Pathways Autism may terminate services at any time, subject to proper notice where applicable.
We may terminate services if:

  • Payment obligations are not met

  • Policies are repeatedly violated

  • Continued services are not clinically appropriate

  • Safety concerns arise for staff or clients

 

14. Changes to Terms
Pathways Autism reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted and will take effect immediately upon publication unless otherwise stated.
